NAME

MATI

APTERA_NOTE

Brown skin, and a cap pulled low. Along its brim, a cross, a triangle, a circle. Above her head floats a little window with her name written in it. To go about holding up one's own name — she must not wish to be forgotten.

Cables wind around her arms and legs, plugs left dangling at the ends. Nothing is plugged into anything, and still the power keeps leaking out. Naturally some spills, says her face.

Of the three, this one is apparently the eldest sister. She leads the way and is the first to get lost herself. She hands over even what nobody asked for. Still, the hands that look after the others are the genuine article — it galls me, but I set it down.
